So I'm reading this article by one of my favorite grad school profs. www.esquire.com/news-politic... It's good, as I was expecting, but also I just have to pause here and ask who the fuck PICKS the nickname Medium Daddy???? This may be the most perplexing thing I've read up to this point.

Others arrive. I’m introduced to them, one by one, by their nicknames. Two Dogs, who does indeed have two dogs. Chapter president Bam, short for “Bama,” though he is originally a New Englander with the accent to prove it. Medium Daddy. Big Bacon. Splinter. Bic, Buzz, Fischer, Ragnar. Patriot Hammer, Krump, Culper, Jefe, Skoden, Ragetti, Bubba. Each of them got to pick their Proud Boys handle.

Reading this book about the Nike doping thing and I kept trying to figure out why the coach's name sounded familiar, since I've never in my life paid attention to distance running. After this guy won the New York Marathon a second time, I realized I KNEW IT FROM SPORTS NIGHT 😂😂😂
