War has famously never resulted in any environmental damage.

This one is maybe not as obscure as the others, at least for fans of early localisations of anime. But I still want to mention it because A) it's great, and 2) so I can tell you it was localised with no original script. They just... watched it and made up new plots and dialogue in English. Amazing.

Prominently displayed are the three main characters (and eponymous samura cats) Speedy, Polly, and Guido. Also visible is the series' main villain 'The Big Cheese' who, in Samurai Pizza Cats, is a rat, even though he is very clearly a fox in the original. Wikipedia says his appearance is quite rat-like but... bro, no, that is a fox. There is no mistaking that for anything but a fox.

This is one of those franchises that never seems to die but also is never a hit? And even fans of the original 70s show seem to forget about this 90s revival.

Coily The Spring Sprite from the famous short film 'A Case of Spring Fever'. In the short, he shows up and announces "No springs!" and laughs, revealing to the protagonist that all the mechanical springs that make the world function have been removed and the protagonist can't do what he wants to do.

It's a very niche joke and if you're not a fan of the the TV series "Mystery Science Theatre 3000" you're likely lacking a lot of context and even if you are I can't guarantee my post is even that funny.

Oh, while we're talking Black Canary and how great she is and how there is basically no bad version of Black Canary, I might as well bring up that in the DC Bombshells universe (which kicks ass) Black Canary is a trans woman. And fuck yeah to that!
