Back home covering TN state government for the new Nashville Banner. Previously at POLITICO, Seattle Times, Chattanooga TFP.
At the inaugural game of the Women’s Professional Baseball League. Baseball is awesome. We should let men start their own league in 150 years or so.
Rose is of course running against Sen. Marsha Blackburn, who released this ad blaming China for COVID, among other things, in her 2024 senate campaign. nashvillebanner.com/2024/10/24/m...
Ah yep here’s what the lawmakers have submitted (same thing, slightly easier to read)
Here’s the congressional map republicans have apparently agreed to
Horrific details of how ICE is treating a Nashville journalist via @mikeiereiland.bsky.social
TN House Dems are fighting and it probably cost them an affordable housing bill this week. Read about it from the @nashvillebanner.bsky.social: nashvillebanner.com/2026/03/12/t...
No, @iamstevenhale.bsky.social did not ask me about chem trails this time, but he did ask and continues to cyber bully me about prediction markets on this podcast episode that is MAINLY about Tennessee immigration tracking bills. nashvillebanner.com/2026/03/06/l...
Crashing out over Polymarket showing up as “news” when I googled something.
Last, the camera swaying back and forth is meant to mimic someone holding a phone but it’s not organic. If it were really someone’s hand, it would probably be a little less smooth/rhythmic and would move vertically too, not just horizontally. (Again THIS IS AI/FAKE)
The “cop” also blends in and out of the fire escape as he moves and his teeth and lips kind of come and go as he speaks All of the “people” also have this kind of Ai glow/halo around them
The other things are more subtle morphing things like here. Look at the two “agents” flicker and meld together
The other big one to me is this guy’s blink. It’s the only blink between him and his buddy for the whole video and uh it’s not a blink.
And look how the letters melt and morph throughout. This is a font only available through Ai and hallucinogenic dr*gs.
Speaking of fake words, wtf is up with that street sign? The first word is almost intelligible but the suffix kinda looks like letters but not really.
Final point on the badge: Look how the fake letters change and morph throughout the video
The fake badge is pretty convincingly shaped like the real NYPD shoulder patch, and you might think it’s just out of focus, but it never comes into focus. Also, if you look closely, the colors are messed up in the words don’t resemble the real words on the patch.
First red flag to me is this fake badge. Ai is very bad at letters, so these jumbled, unrecognizable words are the first thing to pay attention to.
Bulso also introduced the “Charlie Kirk Act” to protect freedom of expression in higher education on the same day he moved to ban pride flags from all state property.
There are two kinds of friends in my group chat this Giving Tuesday/Special Election morning:
Just dropping this to browbeat the "my vote doesn't matter" crowd
This exchange was interesting to me re: Metro’s knowledge/involvement
And here he is doing something g similar with constituents who were barred from the event
The disclaimer comment on the meme makes me believe it probably is Dingman’s account. It also follows 53 accounts — including several scantily clad AI “models” and two different Rep. Lauren Boebert accounts — which seems too weird to be a fake account…
When I was researching him after the protests today I found what appears to be his Instagram — an account called The Smoking Gun — with a screenshot of the cigar incident as the profile picture and its sole post is a profane meme about the cigar incident.
