Clare People, it's Beyond Borders Book Club time again- myself and Cecilia Brizuela from Argentina will be chatting about her book choice 'The Adventures of China Iron, by Gabriela Cabezon Camara in Ennis library this thursday at 6.15pm all welcome and it's free and friendly.

Uplift and Ireland Thinks did the research on it recently so there's actually not any excuse for them not knowing this is the case:

If you have a screen reader or other you can read the results and analysis of the whole poll at this link: https://www.uplift.ie/neutrality-files/ basically these results show that FG voters are 62 per cent in favour of retaining our neutrality ranging up to 99 per cent of PBP voters

Isn't this an unbearable indictment of the EU: They were unable to even agree to pressure Israel to let aid in. To the people Israel is starving, and making die of thirst. The EU is utterly complicit in this genocide. They make me utterly sick.

This is a snip of a quote from an Irish Times Article about the EU Summit in Gaza, it says that the EU countries were not able to bridge their differences about pressuring Israel to let aid in to the people they are currently starving to death. The whole lot of them should be run out of office.

Great day yesterday at the Neutrality Roadshow in Ennis, they are on tour around the country at the moment so please attend if they are in your area. It's vital that people realise what the ending of the Triple Lock will mean and work to prevent it.

This photo says what I have to say about the death of Pope Francis. The catholic church is a hierarchical institution in which the chief currency is power. It uses the faith of its followers to build power for itself. This is what institutions do and they should always be held to account.

Sinn Fein determined to re-instate British law in Ireland apparently.

This is an image grab from Twitter of a Sinn Fein TD on a zoom but giving a radio interview for the 9 till noon show on Highland Radio in which he said there needs to be a conversation on the UK Supreme Court Judgment on trans people. Nothing to do with the photo, but Ireland has had the 2015 gender recognition act in place with zero issues or problems and traditionally Sinn Fein were to say the least opposed to british rule in Ireland
