Just had a brilliant 4 days away in wonderful Stockholm with my love @garydelaney.bsky.social. Great food, loads of walking, incredible museums and handholding in the sunshine. Love it. This is post curry, mid walk back.

It’s me and Gary (left to right) and we look very happy. There’s a darkening but not dark yet blue sky behind us. And some buildings and a fence. I’m wearing my grey Jaws T Shirt (current favourite) and my cross the body bag and a gold necklace. My face is glowy (sweaty) and my lipstick a bright red. I’ve stopped wearing powder as I’ve decided I like to look alive. Gary is in a checked shirt. Great meal, day and trip.

It’s a dessert. It is. Honestly.

It’s a posh pudding. Round, pink with a hole in the middle. It’s a strawberry and cream soufflé. They spoon a hole in the middle to pour more gloop in. My friend said it looked like a flesh light. She’s not wrong.

We (me and my wonderful friends) went to see the incredible Michelle Wolf in Cheltenham tonight. So good. SO GOOD. I feel invigorated and tingly. Laughed so much. Grab a ticket.

I’ve had a cheeky few days in London seeing friends and shows and art. Jo Brand and I booked a table in a lovely restaurant and then it was empty. We had a wonderful long chatty lunch. Adore the bones of her. She has a brilliant new book out soon and a book tour too! shor.by/DeclineAndFa...

DATE NIGHT! Me and Gary Delaney were very lucky to see Something Rotten last night at Manchester Opera House and absolutely loved it. Great songs, so funny AND tap dancing! Well done Jason Manford, Richard Fleeshman, Marisha Wallace and the whole cast. Last show today, grab a ticket if you can.

I was very lucky to see Barry Manilow last week in Leeds on his final UK tour. He was amazing. Such a joyful evening filled with warmth and absolute bangers.

It’s a huge black and white poop. It’s very 3D. It’s about 1/3 of the size of my size 7 (UK) trainer.

This, by the brilliant John Robins, is at times heartbreaking, hilarious, always beautifully written and very John. Big recommend.

It’s John’s book Thirst in hardback. On the cover is a small child, John, drinking from a can of lager. The subtitle is ‘twelve drinks that changed my life’ and the quote is from Josh Widdicombe “The most honest, helpful and perceptive book I’ve ever read about alcohol, and also the funniest.”

Thank you for all of your birthday wishes yesterday. I had such a lovely day. This and naps in the garden were the best parts.

It’s my hand, complete with small tattoo, ring and newly done pinky red nails, holding an immense ice cream. A waffle cone with a generous scoop of Eton Mess flavoured ice cream. It was incredible.

I was very lucky to see Gary Delaney’s (husband, very funny comedian) new show in Sale last Friday. Brilliant joke after brilliant joke. Laughed so hard. Big recommend if you need a good belly laugh. Tour is ongoing and listed on Gary’s website. garydelaney.com

Everyone: How are you killing your time now you’re not on tour, Sarah? Me: Welcome to my new hobby.

It’s a rack with many packets of seeds dangling on little hooks. The one we’re focusing on is for Pampas grass (pink). So the joke is that my hobby is gardening while implying it’s something else. Because Pampas grass is (apparently) (so I’ve heard) (shut up I don’t have the confidence) what you grow in your front garden (surprisingly not a euphemism) to let neighbours know you’re up for swinging (not on a swing, the sexy one). You’re welcome.
