The community kiln I have access to closes in the summer, but I am a fool and keeping starting little pottery projects. As a result my home is filling with fragile greenware that the rabbit is happy to hop around on and sometimes break. Why not? #pottery #rabbit #housedemon

A rabbit sits in unfinished work-in-progress pottery, called greenware. She does not care that by sitting there she will break it, as it is just raw clay and not “cooked” yet. She only cares that it is a wobbly little container that fits her squishy, demonic self. I really love her.

Where I live, dandelions are a favoured treat of bears. Sometimes they just lie down and feast on them for a bit. Cute as anything. The rabbits like them too. #dandelions #gardening 🌱

Some things I have seen this week. I am very lucky to be able to go outside and see a living world. I sit with this in awe and I worship and appreciate this place with everything I got. #yukon #kluane #hiking

Balsam poplar tree budding out its leaves on a sunny day. They smell beautiful. They can be medicine, sometimes. I saw this when I ducked into the trees to go to the bathroom, which is a normal practice for me when hiking.

This is a view of Dezadeash Lake taken from the Rock Glacier Trail. The water looks still and blue and the mountain across the lake still had a bit of snow on it.

This is St.Elias Lake, the end of the St. Elias Lake Trail in Kluane National Park and Reserve. It will green up soon now that the warm weather is here. We need rain.

This is a view of Sheep Creek, taken at the 2km post on Sheep Creek Trail in Kluane National Park and Reserve. It is lovely there. There are Dall Sheep on the mountain but they are far away, up where it is high and safer for them.
