I recently visited a Fiep Westendorp expo in the Rijks Museum in Amsterdam, and I think she accidentally influenced me for this one. Her art is amazing, I highly recommend you look her up if you don’t know her. Also this is probably my fave jimothy I’ve arted so far ✨

I intentionally sat down to make art for an hour today. It’s been a long time, and a small step that feels good It’s a refinement of a very rough sketch I made ages ago for a possible Lino stamp, and I think it turned out well I added something nice to the world today

I made a first quick test with a stamp pad to see what the design looks like, and now I have to make decisions! Decisions are hard!! Do I reduce—or remove—the fruit texture? I designed it without pupils, do I keep these or carve them away? Feedback welcome

Remembering an old silly concept of “avo-catto”, and thinking of how I could turn it into a single color lino print 🤔 Also I forgot how nice and juicy the pentel tradition pen is 🤩 #sketching

I bought one of those "magic" pencils (from koh-i-noor), hoping it would help me feel a bit more playful and lowering the threshold into sketching again. I think it may be working a bit, I love my silly boy <3 #sketch #silly #cursedTiger

I actually sketched a little for the first time in 300 years!! The neighbor kitty is the crankiest faced little floofball, it’s very inspiring 🤭 It’s from imagination, so I’m sure it will need a good amount of adjustments if I want to paint it, but I like the vibe so I thought I’d share ✨
