Canadian Native Flag Designed by Kwakwaka’wakw artist, Curtis Wilson. The same red and white with a maple leaf, but the leaf and stripes have first nation designs in white. First of all: we are all safe, and the storm has passed. It's very sunny and very humid outside right now. But, I have lived a good deal of my life in the city I live in now. Until around 5 years ago, I never once, not once, received a tornado warning. Last 5 years.. around 7 warnings.

An emergency warning alert sent to my cell phone warning of a marine tornado in my area. I live by a river. There was a second one sent a few mins later warning of one on land.

Due to what seems like a mountain of commitments during the last month, I haven't had time to play my piano. Well, I made the time tonight! I played through that pile of music pictured on top and entertained my little 4-legged audience. Saturday nights were meant for making music.

Pictured a dark mahogany upright piano. It has a lace runner with a pile of music sheets on top and a small gold dish to hold paperclips from the music. There is a small brown table on the left-hand side of the piano, and a dark wood with plaid covers three tiered table. Under the three tired table is my gray and white cat, Brees. He is sitting with his catnip filled banana toy. I think he wanted me to play jazz.. he was disappointed.

I finally was able to catch this "economical Bonhoeffer research library" white whale! I'm very excited.. now to find some time to read this book!
