Bertie’s appointment went well, nothing bad was found and he was back home with Clare recovering from his sedation last night. His paw is sore but should be good once healed up from the flush out. Thanks for all your well wishes for this special, spirited chap 🧡
We have a beauty of an auction coming up. We’ll open for browsing in a few days time and for bids at 9am on Friday 31st July for one week only.
Bertie may need a sedation to look at a swelling in his foot - likely culprit a grass seed - he cannot cope with vets and if sedation is needed, he’ll have it. Our commitment to him is 💯thanks to your generous support for #Schnauzerfest 🙏🧡
😊 WHY PLAY OUR LOTTERY? The costs of Jade’s treatment was several thousand pounds, a Schnauzerfest Grant covered this for her rescue 🧡 By playing the #SchnauzerfestLottery you help more dogs and rescues get the help they need 🙏 Play 👉 buff.ly/h1B61kt
Restoring eyesight has always been an important part of Schnauzerfest’s work. Lowri knows this first-hand, ‘She’s doing well and thank you all for your support any paying for her cataract treatment. Here she is making sure we are going where she wants us to go, she is ace at navigating’ 😊👀🧡
PUPPY TRADE AWARENESS Did you know we started because our founder, Janetta Harvey, adopted a dog saved from a puppy farm in 2011. Years on and the puppy trade continues to cause immense suffering. Educating puppy buyers can and should be done by us all. www.schnauzerfest.org/puppy-farmin...
A Schnauzerfest Grant paid for ex-breeding dog Teddy’s cataract surgery. Sadly we received news this week from his family that Teddy died following a massive tumour. We know you’ll wish to join us in sending them love and condolences. Here he is in happier times with his late sister Daisy.
We 🧡🧡🧡 this. Penny and Betty sharing a quiet moment. Dogs bring a lot to our lives, much of it is in the quiet, shared times where nothing needs saying or doing. Just being.
Who doesn’t love a bit of unique glassware, or classy ceramics 🧡 Our next auction will be open for one week from 31st July and we’ll post the 🔗to take part in a few days time.

Polly is in long term foster care with Cavaliers In Need, with her medical costs supported by a Schnauzerfest Grant. It’s been a difficult few days, but everything is in place to help her get back on track. Thank you for making it possible to support rescues and the dogs like Polly who need it 🧡
When Kate adopted Mavis not a huge amount was known about her background. Starfish Dog Rescue provided everything she needed to set off on her new life with adopted sister Meggy. With very big thanks to Gilly and her Starfish team for helping dogs like Mavis.
Many thanks to everyone who supported the Gift Voucher Prize Draw - an amazing sum raised 🧡 Winners Jill, Julia and Hilary have emails from us this morning 👏
Check your emails (and junk) for news which has gone out today. We recently cleaned up our mailing list and if you don’t find it in your spam/junk and would like to get our news a couple of times a month add yourself to our mailing list via our website.
Thank you to Vet Care at Home in Derbyshire for choosing us as their charity and donating £192 this month 🧡🙏🧡 And to Isobel and Carlo who told them all about Schnauzerfest 🧡 It really makes a big difference when you talk about Schnauzerfest, thank you.
A year ago your support helped Teddy have life saving surgery for a liver shunt. Without it he wouldn’t be here today. Lisa says, “He’s absolutely perfect, full of beans and loving life. Here he is, a few weeks ago on his little holiday to Dorset 🥰” Supporting Schnauzerfest saves lives 🙏
Sherlock knows all about life’s chances, he got a second one thanks to his adopters making that choice 🧡 He’d LOVE you to take a chance and buy a Schnauzerfest Lottery ticket. You’ll support our work and you might win a cash prize 🥳 Tickets here 👉 buff.ly/3a5x30L

South Coast Schnauzers were out at the weekend, walking and raising funds and lots of smiles 🧡👏 Awesome work everybody, awesome. We’d love to hear if you’re organising a walk in support of Schnauzerfest. It’s easy and fun ✨

A few days ago we shared Daisy’s story. She left a puppy farm almost blind & pregnant. 🧡 Here she is tonight at home, cataract surgery behind her, a sighted life ahead 🧡 She’s doing fine, isn’t keen on the drops, and is probably a little overwhelmed. We wonder what she must be thinking 🤔
And the third lovely small business that is forming our new fundraiser we will launch tomorrow is @SnufflesShop 🧡 One of the more recent businesses to jump onboard to help us with regular, generous donations from sales of their #Schnauzerfest range of products 🧡
Pebble & Pooch has been supporting #Schnauzerfest for a number of years donating regularly from sales of beautiful art as well as gifting many prizes. We’re excited to bring a new fundraiser to life which will support 3 small businesses as well as raising funds for the charity 🧡
We often think of mother dogs affected by bad breeding practices, sometimes forget the dads. They live isolated lives until it’s time to fulfil their role. Rufus was lucky enough to be rescued, was desperate for human affection, and now enjoys a free life with plenty of love. 🧡 #schnauzerfest
We have an amazing fundraiser we’re about to launch, based on mutual support for small businesses which help us. Moo Moo & Bear has been supporting Schnauzerfest since 2015. You might enjoy this, an interview with Janetta, during the challenges of COVID. www.moomooandbear.co.uk/blogs/moo-mo...
Paddy & Flossie would LOVE you to buy a Lottery ticket for Saturday's draw. They know how your support will mean great work happens for rescue dogs. You might also win £25,000! Tickets here 👉 buff.ly/3a5x30L
Times are tricky. Asking for donations is not something we take lightly. But for Schnauzerfest to pay vet bills, there’s no way around it 🧡 BUT please only give a little if you are able to, we appreciate every penny 🙏 You will find donation options on our website www.schnauzerfest.org
Our judges are judging and working through around 1000 of your fabulous photos. Once the final selection is reached emails will go to all whose pictures make it in to the Calendar. The aim is for this to happen by mid-end of July. We wish we could include them all 🧡
🌟Thank you so much for your support 🌟 We have this morning emailed the lucky winner of the Running Schnauzers Vase prize - please check emails and junk so we can get your prize out to you this week 🧡
If you’re not receiving our news in your inbox and would like to, signing up to the newsletter is quick and easy. Checking your junk folder is also a good idea as we know we land there at times 🙈 buff.ly/UHcEZEN
