It’s been a bit since I’ve watched any Evangelion but seeing this on a big screen tonight.
I’ve been looking for these books for around 40 years. I’ve seen volumes here or there but never a set of them at once. This is one of those holy grail type finds for me.
In 2008, Matt Fraction and Salvador Larocca joked in Invincible Iron Man #1 that the man who could possibly privatize space travel should be the next President of the United States. It's reallly weird how this one has aged.
I've been thinking about these stories since they first came out but now I'm having trouble organizing any thoughts around them. There's so much happening in this comics.
Finally checking this book out 13 years later. The first chapter was a lot of fun.
Decided to head into Chicago today to get out of the house a bit. Wandered around the Harolf Washington Library trying to find the perfect spot to work and found a table with this tome on it. That’s when I knew that I had found my spot.
Batman Dark Patterns was so much better than I thought it could be. Loved how Sherman was channeling both Jim Aparo and Marshall Rogers in this book.
Every month I look at the Image solicitations and wonder if we'll ever see Casanova again. Even though it's a compendium, I'm thrilled to see Casanova show up. And an American Flagg Omnibus as well???????
