Because you have some player/managers, and some people whose debut date is reported weird, I can guarantee that this list is inaccurate on the players who played in the Negro Leagues, but there are 74 names here, and Wikipedia says there are 278 people who were inducted as players, so about 26%.

Of the popular/"noteworthy" ones I haven't seen/seen all of/seen in long enough to remember much of, at present, these are the ones I'm still curious about, if morbidly so in some cases, at first glance anyway.

I'm glad I have just enough restraint to know that the "I'll bump the shit out of this with my 2-XL" impulse is a fleeting one, but this is really dope. 🎧

This is my favorite little guy right here.

I did just have to change out 12 films on my list (and added 2 more years, 1928 and 2026, making it so I've seen at least one film from every year of full talkies; we don't talk about '27...), which was pretty dope, but I wasn't happy about Godzilla vs. Creature from the Black Lagoon. 📽️
