After this draft o walked away wanting people to feel bold enough to draft Green cards, so I added another forest and some outliers. I cut most creature lands in favor of more temples for resonance and gameplay. Cut sideboard riders, power outliers, and weak flavor cards.
This past Wednesday we drafted my Greek mythology and Gladiator combat cube, Kolosaio. I drafted 4C god pile going 1-2. I only cast Kunoros once and my win rate reflects that sadly. I’ve never blinked Atris more times in my life!
Had a moment in my new project I showed you in passing where it was correct to tinker for scroll of fates to cheat it in against an oppo who had mana severanced a doomsday pile of 6 lands
Just have to announce that I’ve officially skipped 10 turns with Eater of Days this year #realeater

My favorite deck of the night was @rourke.bsky.social Mardu Stax deck. Diabolical disruption, tokens galore for smokestack and so much land destruction. I was surprised to see how dangerous Dune Drifter was when we played! 2-1
Daphne is one of our local killers and she drafted the sickest Jeskai Bad Twin deck. A really potent izzet control base with 2 buttons to press made it one of the stronger decks at the table. Double Vision was effective for her and multiple games ended with a doubled fireball. Designer dream. 2-1
@improphilo.bsky.social had a really sweet Mardu Midrange deck with a very sweet scroll of fate flicker package with Angels to sneak in. I got to witness an instant speed Serra Angel, all is well in the world. 2-1
@totallynotnick.bsky.social drafted a super sweet Sultai reanimator deck that cooked me super hard with Emrakul multiple games. After our match, he updated the list swapping Omnath for psychatog at my encouragement. Dread return is on watch, but seeing Oriq Loremage put on a clinic draft 1? 😭 1-2
