Galactic Attack.. Layer Section.. ok it says Rayforce on the title screen on this version. Been working on a clear these last few weeks, finally managed a decent survival 1cc last night. This bit in stage 7 was super scary for me, so it was nice to make it thru unscathed for once 🤘 #shmup #stg

9 days ago?!? Damn I didn’t realise how much Rayforce (Galactic Attack) made the time pass!?! Anyhow, best score so far this evening, made it to stage 6. Playing this for shoot the core cast in July so gonna stick with it a bit 🤘

Another early morning playing ‘Galactic Attack’, sorry ´Rayforce’, this time on this ps4 port. Autofire on this version kicks ass, so I got to the same spot first try this time, or maybe it was the coffee 😅

Another late night playing ´Galactic Attack’ on Saturn via MiSTer. Made it to stage 5 w/ 1.5 mil, I cleared on pad a good while back, so trying now with stick is messing with the muscle memory… slowly getting there though.

About 38 years since I seriously put time into a c64 game (looking at you IK+) but I’ve thoroughly enjoyed playing Enforcer this weekend. So responsive, fun loadouts, not much memo & easily recoverable power after deaths = a very fun shmup/stg. Thanks @beardedsonofnel.bsky.social for another gem!

Forgot how good/insane some of the c64 games were! Not played this but had fun with it so far. Managed 618,450 (level 5) so far.

Just in time for the new Dodonpachi Resurrection Reignite demo I managed to squeeze thru the stage 5 laser wheels in the original without getting hit in a run (the rest of the run was pretty bad tho haha) #shmup #stg

Another tricky one! Powering down a level can be the difference between an easy thru or an impossible mission 😅 The upward lasers on level 2 have done me a few times 😭 Managed 288,630 so far 🤘

It may only be short but jeez Raycrisis is pretty intense, the feeling of dread at being caught by the raining bullets builds and builds - I was very relieved when that tlb went down (after a brief spell of restart syndrome). Rayz port is really good imo

CW/Noise!! Started out with the ps1 port’s special mode of RayCrisis (via MiSTer). The stages are set & there’s a ton of extra lives scattered throughout which make for a pretty easy (& fun) ride. Cleared with the three default ships, stuck the runs all together into one noisy video. #shmup #stg
