I did something kind for the Sea Library main portal – the good old post box. My boys said you have to film it like this if you want to be cool. So here I am. Painting-everything-yellow-weekend. With a paint given by neighbours as they had leftovers. Kindness everywhere.

a book written quite some time ago that didn’t find its home but it will one day, I know, but the Strawberry moon reminded me of a dreamy passage. and sun yesterday looked otherwordly too. a star.
James Joyce’s Ulysses was the second book I read ten summers ago, when I began my sea-book journey. That same summer, my dad crashed his car and nearly died; I fell in love with Sylvia Beach in Paris and decided to make it happen. Life is unpredictable. Dreams are here for a reason. Sea Library
two summers ago I cleaned an old firepit far away from any eyes and in the ashes planted my secret garden of peonies and dahlias – a safe haven to fail. I have never been a gardener, only a dreamer, and this place probably has never been a garden, only a pile of old stuff and a burning flame.
