A shadow being cast in a very (loose) silhouette of Mario. It could also be Luigi. Something like that. Reminds me of the Luigi Doll from Mario Party, so maybe that.

apparently the new firmware update for Switch also now shows you what system your online with. not a huge thing, but I didn't see anyone mention it, and it's a pretty neat detail.
