So, I just noticed a few little black tufts sticking out of a tiny pocket that I never use and pulled this feather out of it. I picked up two feathers earlier today but they're in my bag and perfect. I didn't pick this one up. I don't know where it came from 🤔

#AwesomeCharacters I absolutely love this question! The first is Florian's! A vivid palette that portrays passion, luxury, mystery and obsessive love. Second is Elias's. A much more muted and earth toned palette that portrays a familiar comfort, reliability, naivety, but also a powerful darkness.

#WIPSnips March 11th- Resident An urgent meeting is called in the village square after Florian's little... Excursion the night before, and his soon to be betrothed has a peculiar reaction.

"Ladies and gentlemen, and all residents of Grimswick, thank you all for coming at such short notice", Father Everett began, his deep voice commanding the buzz of the crowd to silence. "I am terribly sorry to inform you that this is not a joyous occasion. In fact, I have gathered you all together to inform you of some terrible news for your own safety. Last night, I found one of our own residents, Mr Harold Attwood deceased in the woods behind the church."

As quickly as the crowd had fallen silent, it erupted into panicked chatter. Florian joined in, attempting to mask his lack of surprise as Artemis clung to him. However, as he glanced down to check in on her, he noticed that she didn't seem upset. The ghost of a smile was still tugging at her lips.

Florian examined their interactions in his mind; Dahlia's timidness and the way Harold's face had dropped when she asked him a simple yet polite question, and even more glaring, the way that Artemis had stated that they wouldn't be following the couple into the church when that had been the one thing she had seemed so excited to experience today. If the stories she had heard were true, then why was he being welcomed into the church so willingly? Was it ignorance, or was the church wilfully protecting those who entered its old walls despite their crimes?

Whichever it was, Florian found himself intrigued.
