She had to be insemimated on New Year’s Day, and gave birth on a Sunday by C section. It took 3 doctors (anesthesia, Surgeon, and Therogeniologist, and 10 students and residents to birth them! An amazing experience!
Dogs love proving vets wrong. My Molly was undergoing artificial insemination, when the head of the department told the treating vet “she a maiden bitch with an irregular cycle, this is a waste of time”. Molly produced 10 puppies. Several are Champions, one is a tracking dog, and all are beloved.
My 15 pound dog has currently taken residence in the biggest bed in the house, and its owner Molly is also too nice to ask him to move!

That is a happy dog! I’m going to show it to my very unhappy dog who broke a big 3 root tooth and had it surgically removed. Poor girl is very unhappy despite pain meds and lots of pill pockets, hickory flavor is to die for. I expect a week of unhappiness here!
