New run. Started in Black Scratch, stayed near UC territories, then moved south to build in Shem. Raided Tengu's Vault with two grossly underleveled guys (one got arrested and wreaked havoc from within). We freed five people, shot the warden, got his jitte, then fed him to wild animals. 10/10

Also, very cool that Dusk gives you the option to mess around with the damage multiplier, something you could only do with Action Replays on consoles/emulators. I've been planning to do a "Damage x4" run for over a decade, and this gave me a good excuse to do it. Man, shit's terrifying.

I know nobody cares, but I spent so much time on these drums and I felt like sharing my insanity with the world. Couldn't be fucked to get Kontakt to run under compatibility layers, and Win VSTs behaved unpredictably under Wine/Proton, so I moved my entire audio workflow to be fully Linux native.

The beeskee place is shitting itself to death. Hopefully this works now.

Still can't properly run Kontakt/Native Access on my Linux install, so I said "fuck this shit". I threw MT Power Drum Kit, Drum Pro, and Cymbalistic in a blender, did some tactical drum compression and EQ-ing, made an empty track to simulate room microphones, and came up with "my own" drum sound.

I think there is a recurring issue where a lot of "experienced" Linux users are not learning the fundamentals, and then keep suggesting terrible solutions to newbies. This is Wrye Bash/Smash running on Wine. Both Wine's and Skyrim's Proton environments are using my Windows' save/modlist folder.

First time using Krita to actually do art. I have some nitpicks, but it's usable.

After spending a few years messing around with different distros inside VMs and other forms of virtualization, I got myself a 1TB SSD and blessed it with a Linux Mint installation. That was last Monday. It's been a week. Still gotta set up a few more things, but boy oh boy, am I happy. :)

Microsoft be like: "We will stop supporting older versions of Windows. Please install Windows 11. If your computer doesn't have the one chip, buy a new one." Bold strategy, considering Wine, Proton and WinBoat are things that exist, and that a lot of devices/hardware have native Linux support.

Building a(nother) personal engine/framework for simulation/text-based RPGs. Last night, I implemented text tags for colors and scale, and wrote a bunch of code to handle FOV around "abstract" walls (which I yet have to test). Implemented OpenGL this morning.

Working a bit too slowly because I'm very distracted and a little overwhelmed, but have this sketch.

Made a small virtual machine and installed Tiny10 on it to see how it runs. I love how its premise is "de-bloated Windows 10", but it can actually be described more accurately with "What if you installed Windows 10 and shit was fucking normal for once?"
