Maybe releasing this during the cap fallow period of the summer will encourage more people to hear this. It would be nice if it heralded a new interest in a fine and somewhat neglected composer.
Sad to hear of Tony Kenny’s death. As another distinguished Balliol philosopher said of him, his first thoughts about anything were reliably more insightful and interesting than most philosophers’ third or fourth thoughts.
The problem is not the use of money creation when it’s needed; it’s the failure when that money has done its work to destroy it by taxing the assets whose value has been inflated by the monetary expansion.

I also still have huge fondness for her first recording. I remember buying it on spec when it first came out and was just stunned. Absolutely the real thing right from the start.
