I will stick to my values. I like to watch the Colorado Avalanche play hockey All pop/rock/rap music flows through Bob Dylan and the Beatles
This is the scary photo. It looks like the mud has just started to flow over the road. Traffic has stopped in both directions. But if you look close there’s a guy on the walking path, lower right, up to his knees in water. The amazing part of this avalanche of mud is that no one was hurt.
This is what the highway through the canyon looked like 24+ hours later in 2021. The highway is just gone. It appears that in Silt they just have to clear off the avalanche of mud and they’ll be good to go.
That current flooding is on the very west side of Colorado, near the appropriately named town of Silt, west of Glenwood Canyon, one of my most favorite places. In 2021 we drove through the Canyon alongside the Colorado River.
Nothing like 1976 in the USA. It wasn’t just flags, it was bunting and stuff like this book. Imagine the stadium but everywhere.
This is the kind of stuff I expected to see in 2026. Everything was red, white, and blue in 1976.
@vaseemkhanuk.bsky.social This is a photo of US Vice President Richard Nixon probably taken 1953 to 1960. Since he is holding a cricket bat I was hoping you could identify the location. Thanks. @picturesofnixon.com @dicknixon.bsky.social
Today is primary election day and this is an example of one of the things I don’t like about where I live. #ElectionDay
Why yes. I’m perusing the menu at a gas station. @rogerthedodger.bsky.social
At the end of Twitter the Library and the WHPO started providing information for all of the @picturesofnixon.com photos. That was cool. They even tracked down Brezhnev’s car. It never got to Russia.
The Avs turned it into a lockscreen. I don’t have the original. Maybe @kahuna.bsky.social has it
At the end of every appointment my dermatologist compares his skin tone to that of the patient’s to remind them to take precautions when out in the sunshine. He has red hair and pale skin.
Crystal Pepsi was a variety of Pepsi that was clear. Not many people liked it which was probably a reason it was never sold in the UK.
