On May 29, the California Air Resources Board approved the “Manufacturing Decarbonization Incentive” (MDI), jeopardizing funding for critical affordability, climate, transit, housing, and clean air and water programs -- investing $4 billion in California's biggest polluters.

Yesterday, our members, James Wen and Stanley Zhang, led a presentation on the Ocean Ave Red transit lanes and the benefits they would have for the community. We hope our advocate's hard work, the Safer Ocean Avenue Project, will get completed with full red-transit-only lanes.

Last week, our members gathered to populate our Bus Census with data from Muni stops along the 1-California and 38-Geary routes. Now, it's our goal to survey all 3,000+ stops in all of San Francisco! If you want to learn more, email membership@sftransitriders.org.
