I did my #TongueOutTuesday with Mom while on the trails this morning. It seemed like the smart thing to do because we all know once Mom leaves for work in the city later Dad isn’t gonna photograph me doing it. 🙄😂😛
Mom has to go into NYC for work today/tomorrow so we did early hikings.There are different doggos who walk in the mornings so I met new frens along the trails - a Border Collie, a (big) poodle, a (tiny) Corgi and a ShitZu. We said hi. It was fun.
Checking out something suspicious in the woods. All clear. Nothing to repawt.
Why did Mom stop me from going down into the stream from this side of the trail? 🤔
Mom+ I did an experiment. I wore my new cooling vest on our hike. I didn’t mind it, but the outcome: we don’t know if it helped. Also, Mom thinks she over soaked it so the puddle I left on the kitchen floor was definitely not my fault! Do any of you use cooling vests or shirts?
Mom went to the swishy swashy place without me! I like that place. It’s fun when the man tries to spray me with the hose but the window stops the water from splashing me!
M, D, hubro, and cousins Lauren+Mark saw The Outsiders today and loved it. They told me all about it but, thank goodness, didn’t try to sing the songs for me!
Everyone’s going into the city today, so Mom + I went out early for walkies in the woods so I could have some fun today, too!
It’s hot again today. There’s a vent near me and I have a view of the driveway so this is the pawfect spot to wait for cousin Lauren to get here.
Mom+I got up early to do hikings, but we got delayed a bit and ended up hitting “doggy rush hour” on the trails. We stopped all the time for greetings but I made so many new frens, did runnings and playz and was a very good boy. Mom didn’t get much exercise but I call it a win
When Mom + I left for our hike this AM our bunny was out. He was sitting very still so that’s what I did, too, then Mom decided it was time to go and started walking towards the car which made the bunny hop away which made me try to follow him…and maybe pull Mom a ‘bit’ hard.
Thinking about whether or not the dog beach was worth it…yup, definitely worth it, but could you make the water a little bit warmer, please?
It’s a blurry action shot but that’s because we were doin’ runnings and having fun-ings!
…and then I was super happy because two more new frens showed up!
Look closely. Pic 1 is a fire truck at the next beach emptying their hoses. The spray went out into the water. When no one was looking, I decided to swim over to check it out. Pic 2 is me coming back after Mom noticed and said “Oh xxxx! Augie, come!” 🤭🙄😂
Today I did my #FluffyButtFriday while doin’ swimmies with my new fren, Mabel.
When we got to the dog beach, there were two new frens to meet. This is Mable, Oliver and me doing playz. What fun - and Mable’s Mom even recognized me from my social posty stuff which has never happened before. It was very fun and very exciting!
I had the BEST FriYAY! We went to a DOG BEACH! I didn’t even know there was such a thing. M,D+hubro just discovered it so we all went to check it out. It was pawsome - new sniffs, sand, salty water and new doggo frens to meet!

After my new fren left, Mom + I played water fetch until she ran out of sticks. I fetch and give them back on land, but fetch and drop them nearby in water. We’re working on that.
I met a new fren at the lake today. I’ve never run into other doggos here. He was just leaving, but we did some splashies first. I’ve never played water games with orher doggos. It was fun. I’d like to do it again!
Mom: Augie, look at this interesting fungi. Me: Mom, look at me. I’m a fun guy, too! 😂😂😂
Mom+I did early walkies today. It wasn’t too hot but it was very humid. It was also “busy” so I met a lot of new frens along the way. I was very good about coming when called except maybe once when I wanted to keep playing so tried to go with my 2 new frens and their Mom. Oops.
