Good morning, the sun's spooky today

The sun, slightly hidden by smoke. The sky is a mixture of a pale orange and blue-ish grey. The sun itself is a bright, angry orange color.

The roads have been busy today

2 fawns crossing the road following one of their moms (the other mom is already in that person's yard)

Many, many geese standing around looking lost. Some are on either side of the road eating the grass. Others are standing and slowly wandering around the road itself, holding up traffic

This was fantastic when @emoria.bsky.social was first creating it on here. I was captivated with each chapter and went from horny to terrified to hopeful over the course of the story. I'm so excited that I have an official,*printed* version of it, and I'm looking forward to seeing how it's grown

Drowning the berries

Blackberries in a Tupperware container. They've sunk underwater. There's some wire netting stuck about halfway up the container to make sure the berries stay underwater

When my husband took me to the aquarium for my birthday, I got a horseshoe crab plush and of course had to go back to see their exhibit. The worker there saw me taking pictures and taught us that my plush was a girl because she didn't have the larger front claws that males do lol

We're finally going around the lab and cleaning out a bunch of the drawers that haven't been touched in years. For some reason we found the Monopoly Dog in one of them??? No other pieces. No money or board. Just dog.

Yu-Gi-Oh has really cool creatures. I loved looking through my older siblings cards when I was younger. I had no idea how to play so I just imagined owning them as pets lol

Saw this little guy nestled in the corner of the claw machine and managed to successfully grab him by the butt on my first try!

They're sooooo close to perfection! Gonna have some berries in time for the holiday

Wild blackberries. Most are large and red, probably within a week of ripening. There's one berry in the center that's a mix of black, purple, and red. It will likely fully ripen in a few days, and be eaten by a bird before I come back on Monday to check them.

This was the summer reading book at my high school I think between freshman and sophomore year. It was really good at showing what her life was like as a teen and how pivotal she was to the movement, even though Rosa Parks is the main woman recorded in history books
