July Fourth. Escaped my enclosure and ate JAPANESE PIZZA at Pizza Studio Tamaki. This is their Diavola pie with DOP san marzano, fresh mozzarella, sausage, olive, red pepper, and basil.
Though it's not strictly necessary to send me the sexiest heels in the universe to build anticipation for our time together.... ...It surely does help. Eep, I cannot wait to wear these! ❤️

Behold: The Montanara Genovese from Don Antonio in Midtown. Hooolyyyy shit. It's not greasy or oily whatsoever. The crust is crisp and light, a vehicle for the hearty toppings. The overall flavor profile reminded me of French onion soup. Unlike any pizza I've ever had.
