The American people overwhelmingly think that we should not be in a war with Iran, and they don't want to see the increased costs in energy and gasoline prices. It's important for us to get back to the negotiating table with Iran.

The Trump Administration reduced training for ICE agents, hired unqualified people and did nothing to ensure ICE agents in Maine were wearing body cameras. They are responsible for what happened in Maine. It is completely unacceptable and must end now.

Putting troops on the ground in Iran or on Kharg Island or in the region in a way that's going to endanger more lives is not something that the American people will support. The President has had no strategy for this war from the very beginning. It's been a failed effort.

This Russia sanctions bill is a one-two punch that's really going to put pressure on Putin. It comes at a time when there's real momentum on behalf of Ukraine. Russia's losing over 30,000 casualties a month in Ukraine. This is a real opportunity to get Putin to the table.

Yesterday, the President claimed he was going to charge a 20% toll on traffic in the Strait of Hormuz, then backtracked. Despite asking Congress for billions to backfill the Iran war, it appears the Pentagon doesn’t know how it will use foreign funds to enforce a military blockade.

For decades, UNH and @noaa.gov have produced critical research, and I'm proud to have secured millions in federal funding to support their efforts. It was wonderful to see the site of their new research center, which will ensure our state remains a global leader in ocean mapping.

Since the President started his war in Iran, families in New Hampshire have had to pay nearly $600 more for gas. And now, with President Trump restarting the war, the burden on families across my state will only get worse.

My INSULIN Act would deliver much-needed assistance to millions of Americans by capping insulin costs at $35 a month. With a bipartisan group of cosponsors spanning 21 states and counting, there is nationwide support for this bill, and I’m committed to getting it passed.

Ukraine is the most innovative military in Europe at the moment. They aren't just a user of U.S. weapons, but a key provider of support, as we've seen during the war in Iran. It's in our national security interest to learn from their technological advancement on the battlefield.

It's not just about us supporting the Ukrainians, but what we're getting back from Ukraine. With the technological advances of how war today is being conducted, the Ukrainians are better than anybody else in the world. We need to learn from them.

NATO defense spending is a good news story.   All 32 NATO Allies are at 2% of GDP. Now, the goal is to get to 5% of GDP, and there are a number of nations that are well on their way. Seven at this point are over 3%.

Momentum has shifted and Ukraine is doing well. Russia is experiencing casualties of over 30,000 a month and they have lost territory. Their economy is in dire straits. Now is the time to finally put pressure on Putin to bring him to the negotiating table.

The most important message coming out of Ankara is for our adversaries to understand that the NATO Allies are united, that we are working together. The only leaders who benefit when the NATO Allies are divided are Vladimir Putin in Russia and President Xi in China.

I was honored to help establish a Congressional time capsule in celebration of our 250th birthday. We don't know what future generations will think about us, nor can we know the challenges they will face. But with this time capsule, they'll know something about who we were.

By refusing to sign the 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act, the President is intentionally prolonging high housing prices in our state. I hear from folks across New Hampshire about how unaffordable housing has become. We must get this bill signed into law to address this.
