I went to clean up my great great great grandparents' grave last year and, after much confused searching, I realised the headstone had blown over in a storm 😭 I arranged for it to be lifted and reset, at considerable expense - my family think I'm mad but how could I not?!

It started with a visit from Phyllis @shapeyrfamtree.bsky.social - a friend, fellow genealogist and classmate from my Masters degree. We toured Northern Ireland, including the @ulsteramericanfolkpark.org, which I recommend to anyone interested in migration from Ireland to North America. #GenHour
