Going through boxes in the basement and found some long lost T-shirts from the mid 80s, including the class shirt from my first year in @umanitoba.bsky.social Faculty of Architecture... Despite what the image portrays, I do have fond memories of my time in the Russell Building! #TheScream

Before Environmental Studies took on the meaning we more commonly associate it with now, ES was the name of 3-year Bachelor program for those who were entering the Faculty to go into the professional Masters of Architecture degree, while the 4-year BID was a professional program and one could either begin practicing professionally or join ES colleages in the MArch program. The ES program has since been renamed Environmental Design.

Generation X: Self-Titled (1978), Valley of the Dolls (1979), Kiss Me Deadly (1981). GenX influenced many a GenXer setting us up later for Cobain and others. Some of my favourite songs in high school (82-85) were from these albums!

So, I can't get into my car. Even if I climbed over stick shift from passenger side, backing out safely isn't a risk I should have to take. How do some folks get and maintain their driver licenses? Don't even get me started on the entitlement and obliviousness to others required to park this way.

Living in Canada, with universal health care, and hearing this is surreal and disturbing beyond belief. So many countries have single-payer systems, while US remains this bizarre contrarian outlier denying reality and the biggest deniers are elected reps with free government funded health care! FFS!

this change to "factional competition" placed the USA at high risk of impending.political instability (i.e., adverse

January 2021 and a successful coup (COUP=1) on 20 January 2025.

3Xe) January 20, 2025 (new administration/presidential coup)- Former-president Donald Trump won re-election in presidential elections held on November 4, 2024, and was inaugurated on January 20, 2025, despite felony convictions on 34 counts of falsifying business records in order to influence the 2016 presidential eleetion rendered on May 30, 2024. He was also under indictment for his part in the January 6, 2021, assault on Congress that tried to stop/overturn the confirmation of the Electoral College results from the 2020 presidential election and, separately
for hoarding classified national security documents after he left office following his first term. Adding to his legal troubles were civil judgements imposed for fraudulent business practices in
the State of New York and slander regarding claims made concerning a sexual assault committed by him.
