Friday, we laid to rest my 21-year-old niece, Alayjah. She was a go-getter and really loved life. I posted this picture of us together when she was 10-years-old after she had brain surgery for the debilitating seizures she had been suffering from since she was little. Alayjah, our Love..Rest easy.

Last night, I was honored by the Association for Corporate Counsel, Southern California and awarded the 2026 ACColades Award, Honoring Exceptional Leaders Committed to Social Impact for my word through the S.H.A.U.N. Foundation for Girls. #bethechange

We saw the Broadway play, August Wilson’s Joe Turner’s Come and Gone starring Taraji P Henson and Cedric the Entertainer! AMAZING! Angela Basset also came out to support. We met some of the other cast - Ruben Santiago-Hudson, Joshua Boone, Abigail Onwunali,Nimene Sierra Wureh, and Tripp Taylor. 🎭

Congratulations to my nephew, David, the graduate! 👨🏾‍🎓 I spent the weekend in Atlanta with my family cheering David on as he graduated from high school on his way to Mississippi Valley State University! So proud of you, David! 👏🏾
