Great to hear Apple is adding windowing to iPadOS, but even better, you can choose to turn it off altogether.

Is @theverge.com aware that their site does not work on iOS or iPad OS? The only way to see the pop over is to be on a desktop? Also, when did the Verge become a pay walled news site??
