Yeah…cargo bikes are heavy. I have a Muli cargo ebike. Must be rolled never gonna go up stairs. Goes into a standard elevator but not a standard bike box. Do you have a parking spot? Can you buy a bike box that fits your bike, bolt it down it and call it your own? Would be worth it.
Absolutely. Use sunscreen liberally and often. I bought this great new clear gel product by Neutrogena. No white ghost like streaks on your face. ☺️ Sunburn is no one’s friend and can seriously harm your skin in the long term.
Or how about something like this? A Muli from Germany. A cargo ebike. A bit more expensive. Hauls groceries up front or a child and/or you can add a child seat on the back too.
Could also be said of Burnaby BC where I live. It’s a wasteland of parking and more parking. Recently a store with 20 parking spots closed. Some merchants went nuts, maybe fearful people had to walk?. Phoned a city councillor or two and voila more parking. Nice eh? Never happens for bikes.
What do Ms Muli and I get up to? Today we are off to the recycling depot. One of the great features of my Muli is her basket which opens and closes. Carries up to 65kg or 150lbs.

Am in violent agreement. 👍 I see your beautiful e-bike and raise you my Muli. She is a cargo/ebike and I also call her my little truck. 🥰 Cost to charge: negligible.
Ms Muli and I were up to hard work today. Moving some flowers from my community garden home.

Has anyone ridden the new cycling infrastructure along Cornwall St., (aka as Seaside) in Vancouver? It’s absolutely fantastic 🤯 separated from peds, and cars and well marked. I started at MainStreet/Terminal all the way to Jericho Beach. Amazing to ride. City of Burnaby look here for ‘how to’.
Indeed it is! Here’s my cargo bike. I have no babies to cart around but I do other stuff.
Me and Ms Muli out shopping. Gas prices high? No problem. Schlepped this lot home about 8km or 5miles in other earth distance in about 25 mins. Might add it was heavy but hill are no problem. (Cost of food is another discussion 😱).
My Muli, German made was about the same. But well worth it. Like having a small e-truck.
I salute your cargo box bike and raise one Muli that I use for everything. Such a game changer for me.

Ooff! A full and heavy load to drag home yesterday as Ms Muli and I went shopping.
Car freedom in Vancouver. Gas is $2.15 litre. #1 highway looking east, standing on Willingdon overpass.
Me and Ms Muli out to the garden shop. Two 60 litre bags of finely chopped fir mulch carted home. Maybe weighed 100 lbs or 45 kg. She performed so well up big hills and through traffic. 🥰
My Muli which is a cargo ebike can do about 125 pounds or 60kg in her basket. Easy peasy! Goes up hills with ease! Load me up! Out for a day of cycling advocacy.
I congratulate you. I offer up my Ms. Muli (name of my bike manufacturer) who performs the same feat for me.
View outside say bet on snow….and enough to make life messy and drivers drive badly.
