How do you get the thyme leaves off the stalks? I just can’t seem to do it and end up chucking the sticky bits in as well & maybe fishing them out later. What is the secret? I try to strip them but just end up busting the stem. Freshly picked if that makes a difference.

Styled for work on a hot day. Ended up using me-made liberty bias tape for the neckline and some satin bias tape for the hem after I stuffed up the final join. The neckline is a bit too wide and maybe I can go down a size but otherwise it feels. Ice and airy.

A very tidy, economical cut. Basic leftovers - no room to lengthen anything and no way to cut the bias strips as the pattern suggests. I’ll have to hack a solution.

This 3m of basketweave linen is about to become an #Eve dress from #Tessuti - fabric both expensive and disappointing as the prewash created some pretty shitty dye-crease marks however trying to work these imperfections into my aesthetic and call it a silver lining. #SewSky
