Daily Kitty Somekitty 🐈 was very hungry this morning. While I tried to get Mittens & Earli in the house last night (failed) Tigger’s people carelessly left him out😾
That is Xena. Here is Mittens. She is a feral that I have been feeding, begging to come in and failed to trap three times😖
I doused the deck with Calming Spray. It was well received. (Note that Earli dragged up a security weed)
In other news, I have 10 more on my head that look like this, and 10 more scattered. While on foot patro, I encountered a Yellowjacket nest the hard way.
This is sort of like my extended colony: the DNA patterns are far and wide. Charlie on the left is from 2024 & Raven on the right in May. We suspect that Charlie might be Mittens’ Grandkitten, while Raven is her kitten.
A barrier (clamped/screwed) is built to isolate the kitchen so that other strays checking out the food cannot wander beyond the kitchen. Having a retired engineer as a foster is a plus!
Daily Kitty Let us all revel in the genius of my foster as he recovers a feral cat who escaped containment. One more to go. He uses a remote pulley system on the door. The same method I will use when Mittens & Earli come farther in
