Sleeping soundly after jumping through the bathroom window to present me with a dead moth whilst I was in the shower. Then woke me in the wee hours to gift me a semi alive vole. Thank you Bentley. Sleep well my little one. I didn’t.
My little babies, Morgan and Bentley are the prettiest twin girls in the world. Morgan is a thinker and plans ahead. She gives massive head bumps and is very vocal. Bentley is the derpy one, has no impulse control and loves belly tickles, rubs and violent smooshes.
The little kittens we rescued from scavenging on a farm 2 years ago now get fish for breakfast with interesting & varied toppings, a helping of crunchies & a made up song. Lunch is half a poached egg then maybe a snack later followed by more crunchies for dinner. They are our furry overlords 🤣
These beautiful little girls are 2 years old today. We always think of Flossie, their tiny little farm cat mummy and are grateful for her love and care until we adopted them 12 weeks later.
Today I am pondering, & celebrating the strength of the bond on a cup handle. We all know how devastating a failure could be, but they are relatively rare thank goodness. Think about the small surface area of the bond, the top always in tension, the bottom in compression. It truly is remarkable

Don’t let the innocent face trick you. She just brought me ‘breakfast in bed’ Then, having chased it around the bedroom, caught it again, took it into the kitchen to dispatch the poor creature into the afterlife then deftly placed it under the tree with the other gifts.
Poor baby. Mine was asleep & someone huffed into her belly fur, so she woke ‘that person’ 3 consecutive nights around 3am & vigorously made bread on exposed skin. Then she brought ‘that person’ a baby rat & crunched it right outside the bedroom door. (She knows we don’t allow food in the bedroom)
This is my one year old kitten, Bentley’s favourite hidey place. Like Moo, she is a master of disguise.

Saw ‘I Swear’ last night, and as a mum to an adult son with Tourette’s, I can verify how authentic this film is. The struggle to be understood, to have a diagnosis believed, the bullying from peers & professionals, but also the acceptance, the humour and the hope. Would 100% recommend.
Completely agree, and I feel a little cheated because I didn’t recognise it was AI. I just thought it was a magnificent image of a cat, and posted my little Bentley as a contrast, as she is the clumsiest, messiest, daftest, most un majestic darling of a kitten. I agree AI should be clearly marked.
You’d think they would have chosen the picture of a police car without a dent in the door. 🤭

2 hour programme dedicated to back to back lies made by Trump during his presidency. For US readers, C4 is a credible, mainstream & well respected programme. The show will be aired the night he is visiting UK. British people are overwhelmingly horrified he’s being given a state visit. We hate him.
