It’s not a good doodle, the nose is but aligned with the eyes. But I love the eyes so much, they look so peaceful.
Had to order this book after seeing the cover art and looking up what it’s about. I straight up ordered an old battered copy off of eBay, because I can’t not have a version with the gorgeous cover. I hope I don’t just set this aside like I do most of my books. It sounds so cool.

Think I found a tiny baby orb weaver. Last year I observed two adults mating (male did not make it, I’m sorry to say). I wish I could know if this is one of their offspring. Very cute, regardless. I hope she keeps coming back.

Remember, the most important part of drawing a head is to only complete one side. Make it so that the other side cannot possibly live up to what you’ve completed.
