If you've left Greenhearth Necromancer a review on Steam: thank you!!! Reviews can make a huge difference for games on Steam, and we appreciate your support! Here are just a few of our favourites from the last few days. 💚 If you haven't left a review yet, the next best time is right now!

A really cosy and cute game! I don't normally like games like this, but for some reason this one is really working for me, whether it be the necromancy, the fun worldbuilding, or the observations on grief and healing.

I love the art and music and am very much looking forward to getting into the rest of the plot and discovering what other plants exist!

The cozy gamer's Dwarf Fortress. This game is a cute grounding exploration of the cycles of life, death and rebirth and you have to make peace with death, contagion, and pests entering your garden which makes you more forgiving of yourself as you figure out strategy and spell recipes.

The 2.5D procedurally generated plant growth system is really cool and rewarding, and the social battery event cards encourage you to foster interdependence with your neighbors and trade resources at a community market each week. Focus Mode gives a speed and healing boost and I like to listen to the sounds of my plants growing in the background while I work.

The characters are charming and diverse but the heart of the story is about coming to terms with grief and resentment over the loss of your grandmother and rebuilding her garden and community to honor her memory.

A cozy and magical idle game to get lost in! The premise of raising a balcony garden back up from the dead, occasionally interrupted by a cast of co-op neighbours who drain your social battery, is satisfying to play through.

Progressing through the early game while scrounging your materials and your magics lends to the experience of being a recent graduate with limited resources, slowly nesting and pruning your way to undead garden prospertity. The music and atmosphere are customizable, curating the perfect auditory soundscape to allow you to make the most of the idle mechanic and focus on those pesky IRL tasks while your garden grows.

Highly recommend this lovely little gem of a game!

A very sweet semi-idle game. I enjoy that you're allowed to either anxiously watch and take care of your plants every second or walk away and let focus mode take over, where your plants have 100% health regeneration and your scene cards appear faster.

Watching the day pass through the background is nice too. I haven't yet met all of my neighbours, and those I have met, I don't always react to the way they respond to best.

But that's okay because that happens in real life, too. I look forward to making the curmudgeon accept me.
