Zelda Dungeon's Wiki says you can kill the Pols Voice by flicking the C-Stick on Gamecube Collector's Edition's Japanese Release of Zelda 1. I went to get footage of it, and it just doesn't work. It only works on Wii Virtual Console, despite the wiki calling the roms identical.

Finally bit the bullet and got a Retrotink 5x Pro. The price hurt, but this quality video from a Wii is really impressive. Looking forward to doing runs of TP on stream ASAP!
