I really like this photo I took when I went over to visit Shroud last night, I put it behind a cut because I don't want anyone to complain about it showing up on their feed despite being relatively SFW as crop & shadow take care of things.
Started editing photos from Stillwater on Saturday. The aim was "blue hour" which is right after sunset. I used my fastest lens and best camera for low light, but also did a lot of... creative editing to let's say bring some artistic license to the photos. Less technical edits than I'm used to.
At the spring picnic yesterday, some of my favourite photographs were of @mareebirb.bsky.social & @kitsunekla.bsky.social who I've never gotten to see together in fursuit, so I took full advantage of trying to get the best photos of them together that I could!

It came up in conversation recently so reposting this photo I took at Lake Tahoe in 2020 of this curious squirrel who came right up to my camera.
I keep thinking today about the squirrel I watched die last summer and how I couldn't do anything for her but tell her I was sorry for her. She got hit by a car as best I could reason. She was placed in the shade under a tree where it was somewhat more comfortable than hot asphalt.
Some photos from today's track day outing. I really dig the mirage effect I got with the last photo. Shooting so far away and close to the ground was a new perspective for me. I've never been to this venue so I tried a lot of different shooting positions.
I took these one year ago today using my pocket camera, hence the quality, but the best camera is the one you have with you.
I did another bit of editing on this photo but I am even happier with it now. Included the before version this time.

2012 was a good year. I got the Fiat in 2012, drove it to California, flew to VA and took a road trip to Orlando to visit friends, swam in the ocean, basically loved life and adventured. Also got to fursuit for the first time at MFF, thanks to @nevermint.bsky.social (I'm the rabbit)
@ibolt07.bsky.social over here inspiring me to look through my 26 years of convention media to see what my first fursuit dance competition was... MFF 2012. I had a Canon PowerShot S100 (I had a DSLR but it didn't shoot video) so here's the only fursuit dancer I videoed that year (because otter?)
