Personal Note: There's a sperate folder for broader culture IP characters, but I feel more strongly to this space of people, both for this answer and in general.

There are so many wonderful people here and fun characters to partake of. The types of way I feel that draw varies for the characters contained within. Some maybe be fairly surface, other spark a deep madness. But they all have a place in my heart.

I give you my extensive thoughts.

It's an extraordinary way to be kept so yes, absolutely. However, I cannot understate the hyper-specificity to it.

I definitely like bondage & restraints, though surrounding circumstances are what give it flavor for me and broadly won't give me the feeling I get/want from the necklace prison idea.

I haven't done much with paralysis, but I like it conceptually and the dabbling I have done is good. But it's in the same vain as bondages.

Petrification isn't really for me as being locked in stone, marble, ice, ect. materials means there's no back and forth. It's statically one-sided which interest me less. It's just useful as an example, pointing toward the right direction.

And as for being trapped in display case, painting, mirror, lamp, ect., those ARE close to eliciting the same feeling, but the fixation remains apart for the pendant prison for two major reasons.

1: Size/Convenience
Generally moving any of the aforementioned objects around is far more of a hassle, let alone keeping them on your person. Folks aren't typically seen dangling paintings from chains wrapped around their fingertips. A compact mirror can easily fit in your pocket for sure, but you're not really wearing/displaying one.

& 2: It's far more intimate.
Wearing me around on their person is just obvious closeness. It's saying "I'm not letting you out of my sight for a minute". It's pulling me along but also inviting me into whatever space they choose to occupy. And anyone trying to free me has to also get close to my wearer.

You might think "can't a sfw pet/sub relationship also accomplish this?" but that's too free and more likely voluntary. With it, my mind thinks "If I wanted to escape this I could, and rather easily". Step it up by having a collar that binds me to the person and I still see ways of manipulating situations to eventually escape on my own, which applies to most Damsel/Dude in Distress situations (a prime example being Leia eventually using her own chains to win back her …
