Neuropsychologist in training. Deeply strange person. Biracial and loud about it. Lover of horror, science, and music. Has lots of answers to questions you didn’t ask. They made me a PhD in psychology. So I guess im A Batman villain now.
#MonochromeMonday from a meeting. Forgot to post it before but it was good to check.
This was so fun and I’m actually annoyed we aren’t talking about it more. In the same realm as Dave Made A Maze or even Pan’s Labyrinth
Anne Hathaway and Michaela Cole are transcendent. I am still processing this movie, but the dance sequence will haunt me for a year.
Such a cool concept totally fucked by terrible writing in the second half. Like one of the worst fucking fumbles, terrible hero character, but it had such a good start. Faces of Death was free for me and I want half my money back.
We aren’t talking enough about Public Works as elder millennials and it’s a fucking travesty.
They Will Kill You was so much fun. We are eating good this month at the movies.
It was fucking great. It was also extremely triggering. And I’d see it again. Stop supporting that genocide supporting movie and see Shirley Chen and McKenna Grace fucking nail it in this body horror, coming-of-age movie.
Undertone has some pieces missing and and I have small gripes. But I also was so tense at one point I forgot to breathe. Go in blind and just sit with it.
I’m still thinking about this and how it’s a crime that we’re letting another female led film flop because of misogyny. If you’ve been thinking about movies like True Romance and Wild At Heart, this is for you. (Also Natural Born Killers)
