Today, June 21st, marks National Indigenous Peoples Day in Canada. On this day, we celebrate and learn from the culture, contributions, and ingenuity of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit Peoples. It is also a day to reflect on and consider our actions toward reconciliation.

Drum roll please ... 🥁🥁 After the pilot of our new program for students in grades 4-8, we are excited to announce its new name - Wonderground. This name reflects students curiosity, with a fun play on our underground lab! This program is generously supported by the NSERC PromoScience Fund.

On Tuesday, SNOLAB hosted the Celebration of Learning for our SEEDLING program Science North. Over the course of this pilot program, students from across Canada engaged in sessions with our Education and Outreach team to explore the scientific method and come up with experiments designed for SNOLAB.
