It bums me out that #Fablespro is so small time because the Fables version of Octeal's site might be the best version design-wise. The one caveat (besides familiarity) of Fables is the small upload size, but I've gotten pretty good with managing that by this point.
Planted catnip for the cats and... well, didn't expect them to SLEEP on it but... I accept this result!
-Minus the foreground elements. There's a type of... "stylistic clumsiness" that I would love to get better at.

Probably should be working on the next update to my comic but I got distracted drawing this doofy little dude. It's a drake (minor dragon) based on a puffer fish. This one's pretty fun... I might have to take it all the way to the coloring stage I guess.
Not anything diegetic but it has surprised me how much the character designs have changed in a short time. It's stuff you won't notice at a glance but once you start looking for it~

There are four arcs in the comic, each with a different prefix. The first is "Surprising" Octeal. The second is "Eminent" Octeal but I'm hesitant to reveal further as the titles are a littttttle spoiler-y. By the end of the series the main character will be in her 40's.

... I'm starting to regret deciding to only advertise Octeal when I have a full episode complete... I've been working on Episode 4 for 9 months now... it's already twice as long as the longest episode.

My mom got a faaaancy green house for mother's day, so we've been working on it off and on. We worked through the rain today and right when we called it a day it started to hail. Lucky~
