URGENT! BARCS Animal Shelter here in Baltimore is out of space, and desperately needs people to foster large dogs! If you can foster a big pup for 2 weeks or more, go to BARCS Friday (8/7) 2-6pm or Saturday 11am-4pm, and they’ll help match you with the perfect foster pooch! 1/2

We are all about stopping animal cruelty. Last year we awarded a grant to the Forensics Department at Loyola University Maryland to provide entomology evidence collection kits to animal control agencies throughout Maryland. Today… 1/2

… see, after Freedom was found as a kitten covered with burrs, he was diagnosed with a rectal stricture (so pooping didn’t work right). After months of surgeries - success! But, well, he leaks a little. From, y’know, his butt. Wait, where are you going? Come back! Please! 2/3

Sh!t happens. Sweet adoptable kitty guy Freedom’s been at AARF for 6 years, almost his whole life. This whole time, he’s gotten only 2 applications, and no meets. Even though he’s an awesome li’l (just 7lbs!) dude who loves people, cats, and dogs! Why? Well… sh!t happens. 1/3

🚨 Street kitty Archie needs your help! Last month his owners moved away, leaving him out on the street with the trash. A kind neighbor reached out to us about his nasty eye infection. Turns out he has entropion - his eyelids are turned inwards, so his lashes constantly rub against his eyes. 1/3

Meet Petrie (AKA Mr. Wobbles). Somebody brutally beat him with a bat. That he recovered with only vision issues and occasional ‘tippiness’ is a miracle. That he’s still a happy-go-lucky boy who loves people is a gift we don’t deserve. Now he needs a home. Spread the word, or adopt! 👇 1/2
