I was confused by this too, because I thought the term "sticky wicket" (which is the joke) was a cricketing term, and it's prevalence in wider parlance entirely derived from that - but it turns out - per wikipedia - that it is also a croquet term

The England Women intra-squad matches have moved from South Africa to Repton. We're down to 22 players from 30 (assuming Abbas is there in the crucial role as Knight's designated fielding sub) and Kira Chathli has dramatically appeared. Otherwise the fringe players have returned to their counties.

Hive mind question. This is what our 5 year old wants for Christmas. 1 is animals. 5 is Numberblocks. 4 might be Octonauts. Any idea what any of the others might be? Broadly speaking he likes things to do with nature, drawing/colouring and maths (and violence, but less likely to be in a xmas list)
