TIL github has "rage-click" detection i do that very often ever since their ui became a mess. unfortunately it's just a bunch of analytics that ubo blocked for me. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ honorable mention: dead-clicks.ts; but it's also just invisible analytics and, you guessed it, blocked by ubo.

i don't have a clear picture of v1 because i accidentally tore the wires apart before i took any proper pictures, and i also.. destroyed some parts during desoldering... there's this though. i hadn't thought of using jumper wires at that point.

v1 of the project mentioned in the original post, showing only the "metal" part of the perfboard. 3 wires that i plucked from breadboard wires with the male connector pulled off are soldered onto the board directly but there was no trimming so they're very long.

did stuff dht (am2302) temp/humid sensor mounted on a perfboard with a seeed xiao esp32c3, connected to home assistant over wifi sensor is uh. quite ass so to speak, sometimes requires power cycling to work. quite simple project (simple ≠ easy), helped derust my soldering skills

a perfboard. from left to right, top to bottom: a toggle power switch, a seeed studio xiao esp32c3, an am2302 temperature and humidity sensor; the radio antenna that came with the xiao, and lastly a 500mah li-po battery.

this is actually version 2 of the project. version 1 did not have a power switch, and there's no organization of components; basically things are all over the place. the power switch is important because of the shit sensor.

the back of the perfboard. 5 jumper wires are used to connect the required pins. they're organized in 2 sections, the one on the left connects the sensor to 3v3, gpio21 and gnd respectively. the one on the right just has some jumper wires connecting the battery and the switch.

ive tried to tidy up the wires so they don't look like garbage and cross each other all the time. this is practically just the flow game.
