i'm like if a wikipedia was transsexual she/her, it/its if we're friends
e2m4 feels like a real step up in difficulty from the preceding 12 missions this level is out to get you, 4 barons and 11 tomatoes... almost every enemy encounter involves either a surprise attack or some floor crushing shenanigans
*the* edward snowden is now following me on letterboxd, you too can join edward in reading objective cinematic analysis, for the low low price of $0,00 letterboxd.com/sovietblobfi...
e2m3 is the first level of this episode i would consider to have good design i still feel like i'm being starved on ammo, though that is partly my own fault for saving the rocket/plasma for 'special occasions' and almost exclusively shottie maining,
our uvmax keyboard only doom journey conquers e2m2, and because i was so ammo poor, and this level has the berserk power-up, i cleared this level fist only under par time, but that's the blobs guarantee, so no surprise
our uvmax keyboard only doom journey enters e2 with e2m1 this level, a real step down in quality from e1, an obnoxious chain of teleporters and corridors that makes it hard to know where anything is in relation to anything else, also, a keycard being optional is a really weird change
it didn't feel right to leave episode 1 without dealing with my unfinished business, that e1m2 missing item so booted up my e1m2 save, and found it! now the entire episode has been uvmax'd keyboard only :)
lmao, was that the episode boss fight? i got through it with more ease than i did e1m1 i guess the fact i had been exclusively shotgun maining in prior levels, and therefore had oodles of rockets to just annihilate the barons with probably helped not 100% kills because its e1m8,
i had to search this level with a toothcomb four times before i found the lost bottle i was missing to ensure i got 100% items here, not having a fucking repeat of the e1m2 99% items debacle
for funsies did a pacifist nightmare difficulty runthrough of e1m1, took about ten tries to get through without the hitscanners ruining my life on the walkway over the toxic waste, 14 seconds though, not too shabby
e1m6, the most monsters in a doom '93 level, has fallen before us uvmax keyboard only style, i was terrified because i was sitting at 112/113 bottles that there would be a single random bottle somewhere that i just wouldn't be able to find, like the ruin of my e1m2 uvmax, crushed par as usual
she's unstoppable, john romero imagined a par time of 2 hours 45 minutes for this level, and she's only gone and done it in 46 minutes!
yet again, she has demolished the par time e1m4 keyboard uv par time 1 hour 30 minutes cleared in a humble 31 minutes 44 seconds
secret level cleared in under 30 minutes!? they're calling her the best to ever do it...
another banger time under par for my first time playthrough of doom '93 (uv, keyboard only) 87 minutes to clear e1m3, which is under the par time of 2 hours, so let's goooo 😍
personally i split the difference between the geordie perspective and the normal perspective in a way that leaves everyone upset and confused
was introduced recently to perhaps the funniest stupidly expensive watch out there, the richard mille smiley, you too, can pay $4 million dollars for a watch with a smiley emote in it
no need, there's a bridge, the land is connected afroeurasia lives
as president, i will give a copy of this book to every bsky user...
my beautiful uv keyboard only playthrough of doom '93 lies in shambles one fucking health bottle or armour pack i couldn't find, i spent over an hour on this level cos i'm not good at secret hunting, and one bottle stood between me and the full clear... so annoyed
i run the watchlist surveying the 600 or so articles i've dumped on it so when people make bad edits on them i can revert them
having a basketball court in your 'gym' should disqualify you, that's just a sports venue
the director's adoptive country is namibia, so i am counting this as my first namibian film, even if its quality is unfortunate, let's add it to the board!! we can now form a chain of countries all the way from tunisia in the north to south africa in the south 🥳🥳
noble culture was so funny man, guy hunting a rabit accidentally strays into his neighbours land, cut to 7 years later, its armed conflict between the two families
another banger from the presentation, the terrorism iceberg (which took its first lives in 1912 😔)
damn, crazy that people have that impression about prevent... anyway let's move forward a few slides...
