By this logic Apple Maps should also be removed due to its speed trap reporting feature. Ditto for any app with real-time bus locations.

According to internal correspondence reviewed by Migrant Insider, Apple told developer Rafael Concepcion that the app violated Guideline 1.1.1, which prohibits "defamatory, discriminatory, or mean-spirited content" directed at "religion, race, sexual orientation, gender, national/ethnic origin, or other targeted groups."
But Apple's justification went further.
"Information provided to Apple by law enforcement shows that your app violates
Guideline 1.1.1 because its purpose is to provide location information about law enforcement officers that can be used to harm such officers individually or as a group," the company wrote in its removal notice.
The decision effectively treats federal immigration agents as a protected class — a novel
interpretation of Apple's hate-speech policy that shields one of the most powerful arms of government from public scrutiny.

I'm emailing about Amendment 111 to the Comprehensive Plan. I'm disappointed to see you putting forth a last-minute amendment to greatly reduce the size of the Capital Hill regional center and the CD urban center, added the day of the final public comment on the plan.
Can you help me understand:

1. Why are you recommending this change? | see no such information in the memo that mentions this new amendment. Seattle has a severe housing shortage. This change removes almost 175 acres from the two centers, which would provide a huge amount of potential housing units. What is unique about this area that makes you think they should not see zoning changes?
2. Why is this being proposed at such a late date?
What prevented this amendment from being introduced earlier? I don't even see it listed on the 15. Updated Amendment Package for Public Hearing Notice document here so it's unclear if this amendment was even known about during public comment.
I strongly hope you reconsider this amendment and choose to remove it from consideration.
