12 year old me would absolutely be floored at the stuff I’ve been able to collect to enjoy. This right here though… There’s a very real feeling of achievement (and the warmth of love from the friends who gifted it to me to unburden themselves of the logistics) with this.

Headwear Restrictions
All headwear must be removable, thematic to the event, and appropriate for a family-friendly venue. Face-covering must be removed upon entering the village gate after which they can be worn as intended. Inappropriate, offensive, and non-thematic headwear will not be permitted through the festival gates. Examples of non-compliant headgear/face coverings include inappropriate face paint, offensive prosthetics, make up or masks intended to frighten, and fursuits.

Maryland Renaissance festival has explicitly banned fursuits. I never suited there but like…come on. This isn’t a living history museum. Renn faires were created by counterculture hippies who managed to invent wrap pants and convinced people the world they’re historical.

Headwear Restrictions

Dogbomb was one of the inspirations for my one man show though he didn’t end up getting adapted into the thesis version. The person who taught me mask making made a single one-off mask of Dogbomb in 2020 that sold at the Fur the More charity auction, which was big bc she does not do custom work.

I rescued this from the damp cold and the trash bin. Put out by my neighbors. Took a fair amount of work on the first pass to get the brown grime off the screen so I assume it was either a smoker’s or just sat in an attic/basement. Doesn’t look too bad actually. For a Sylvania
