the most beautiful boy that ever was, our Atticus, is a black and tan miniature pinscher. Here he is swaddled in a soft teal Sherpa blanket, paws tucked under his chin, gazing off to the side, a small smile playing on his face. I love him more than anything in the world.

Been following the #VikingWoodstown dig via @tuatha.ie for the last few weeks. They’re still awaiting carbon dating, but found evidence an international trading hub existed in Waterford where they dug! My fave: this bit of jet bracelet, as I wear a jet bracelet daily. Some energies never change :)

A hooded crow is perched atop a stone statue of a human that is missing its head. The crow is on the empty space above the torso, as if to adopt the body upon which he is perched.

Just saw a kettle of hawks (Swainson’s, I think) circling one street over, then they flew directly to us & overhead. There were easily 50 of them, & they were riding the front blowing in — not a single wing flap in sight, all gliding in total silence. It was breathtaking. 📍San Antonio, TX #birdsky

Flying internat’ly is stressful for us, imagine what it’s like for a free-range (at home) parrot trapped in a crate for 12-20+ hrs!
