Hey #fungusky (#fungsky ?), can someone tell me what this is growing on a stump in GG Park?

My first attempt at growing dahlias.

Anybody know what's going on with the new elevator at the Castro Metro station? It looks like the construction is complete but it hasn't opened yet. Been like this for weeks, maybe months.
