When my MC first met Medeline, she was using some high tech gizmos to travel to other worlds in order to get into buildings to rob them. She tried to force him into helping her at gunpoint, unaware he had a gun of his own. One that displaced people to other worlds, but only the person, not their clothing or posessions.

Now, as a black grade prisoner in a high tech world close to the one he zapped her, he finds she's in the same cell block and goads her into punching him, knowing that such an action will demote her to black, too. (Life, no hope of release + a lot of other restrictions and rules)

When a substitute teacher takes over the class, he objects to my MC being there, and at the end of the lesson, issues a command it's impossible for him to safely obey. As a black grade prisoner, nothing's allowed in his cell, on pain of being transferred permanently to block 8.
My MC's terrified of that just because of the description he received during a video induction... It's actually infinitely worse.

When Diah got out of prison for the second time, he found the lawsuit he wanted to bring against the magistrate who sent him there had been won, with the help of the king.
When he talked to the staff of Sneyd Hall, part of the winnings from the lawsuit, (he won half of it, the rest owned by the ex-magistrate's family) he found they hated them, so instructed them to still do their jobs, but to return any insults directed their way.
When he decided to host a party, Updyke, the husband of the ex-magistrate's sister, tried to put a stop to it, so my MC picked him up by his collar and dragged him to a corner to have a quiet word with him.

Colonel Mitchell, a racist, slave owning PoS has become a threat, so, my MC and his friend Dan travel to that world to deal with him. First on the agenda was supposed to be to contact the UK government and inform them what he was doing on British soil. (Sending slaves to their deaths, by shooting them to other worlds with a particle accelerator).

Unfortunately, after spending over a day locked in a small room in the basement of the Ministry of Defence, it became clear that the current UK government in that world were in Mitchell's back pocket, and the only way they gained power was by conducting a series of terrorist attacks disguised as black people.
After that discovery, and their escape from the MoD, they decide to contact some journalists to spread the word on their discoveries, then travel to Germany to do the same, there.
(They only intended to remain in that world for a short time, maybe a few hours... Make that a few days.)
